Q345R is a widely used
low alloy steel to build pressure vessels in China, equal to ASTM A516/
A516M Grade 70 medium carbon steel.
Q345R plates are called pressure vessel steel plates sometimes. These plates include
carbon steel and
alloy steel for high/intermediate/low-temperature applications.
According to Chinese national standard GB 713-2008, 16Mng,
16MnR and 19Mng are renamed Q345R.
